Bonjour Robert, bonjour a tous,
I am very happy to know and use TinyCore. As I have a great interest ultra-light
solutions for low energy systems (sailing boats), and make some stuff for mariners
(as me), I have adapted the Opensource chartplotter reference, OpenCPN for your
system.
Maybe I will have the great honour to see theses packages in your repositories ?
PS: Nothing is perfect. Some external libs not alvailable for 6.x or incompatible
(wxwidgets) are included in the tcz.

I was unable to find a link to opencpn.tcz?

Hi marinux
Welcome to the forum. I stumbled across your post here:
http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/f134/xinutop-portable-os-linux-marine-updated-81353.html
and was surprised (pleasantly) that you were using the findshares program I wrote. Didn't think sailboats had that many computers. ::)
I have a buddy with a 1974 Pearson 26 that we usually take out once or twice a week during the sailing season.

Hi Juanito
The extension files are probably all packed into the opencpn-tiny.tar tarball located here:

Thanks - found it.
opencpn doesn't look to be compiled on tinycore, and relies on libs from another distro so I'm not sure we could include it in the repo at this stage.
However, I'm sure somebody would be willing to help with wxwidgets, portaudio and tinyxml extensions :)

Hello Rich,
Nice to meet you ! :)
Yes, travellers sailboats are very equipped for the main reason: Nautical charts. Computers with some wiring can also substitute classic (and expensive) nautical instrumentation.
You program is very simple and efficient !
If you look more, you will see I have made /usr/local/bin/findshare.sh to suppress error displayed, and integrate it in /usr/local/sbin/mount-cifs-sh with some files from (abandonned) Samba-TNG to mount simply smb shares. So tiny...

Bonjour Rich,
Thanks for the news. ;)
At your intention, I have put at "http:/download.tuxfamily.org/xinutop/packages" the packages (in deb format) for next release of Xinutop that I have mixed with your findshares, selected packages from SambaTNG and little script.
- samba-tng-cli: to access and mount shares (40ko for deb , 73Ko installed)
- samba-tng-full: cli + server (1Mo for deb, 6Mo installed)
Samba3 take 33Mo compressed...
I download your update version and will integrate it.

Hi marinux
About license: any other precision ? open source ?
Yes, it's open source. The only restriction is you may not sell it or charge money for it in any way.
