Since there does not appear to be a properly working PDF reader in TC 6.x (and 5.x), could the mupdf.tcz extension from TC 4.x please be copied to the newer repos (plus its dependencies openjpeg.tcz, libpng12.tcz and jbig2dec.tcz)? I just checked that it still works when copied manually to TC 6.0rc1's /tmp/tce/optional/ folder and installed subsequently from the Apps tool.

Although upgrading the extension while at it would be nice, seeing on these forums how update requests are more or less ignored, having the old extension available would already improve the status quo a lot.

I've used evince2, yes, but, besides being larger in size, I found it crashing reproducibly, once resized beyond a certain point. So I don't find it usable, since I have to resize the window in order to be able to read something for most documents.

How does "submitting" a new extension work? "Submit" whereto?

My problem with evince is that when I select text the text and it's background get all black and I can't read what I'm selecting.
Also the scrollbars don't work properly.
I think both might be a gtk3 "feature" :(

you might be able to adjust the behaviour with dconf-editor or gsettings?

I'll try this, it reminds me of windows registry, lol.

I installed dconf-editor from the repo, but it has very few options. I can't seem to find anything that suggests it would be able to change the scrollbar behavior or font foreground/background combination.

* The black font background problem got fixed by changing the theme to the default
