I wonder how you guys decide what to put in your -dev-package dependencies, cause I built mplayer for 6.x automatically against dependencies you guys selected in there, which makes the resulting binary link against way more things than it did in 4.x for example.
If you put as much as you can into your .dep thinking this makes things easier for some, please don't forget it also makes things more difficult for others :)
