Sounds like a good idea right?
-
Firefox-official.tcz needed cairo.tcz added to dep file, so firefox updated to v33.1.1 and dep file modified
submitted (x86 only at this time)
-
getFlash.tcz works great, but getFlash.tcz.dep needs updating to reflect changes to squashfs-tools-4.x.tcz which has been renamed to squashfs-tools.tcz
I can re-submit or perhaps someone can edit the dep file..?
note: sound drivers (alsa.tcz) will be needed otherwise flash11 will crash if movie content has an audio element
-
getFlash11 dep file adjusted - thanks
-
These extensions perhaps need their dep files updated for the tc-6.x repo
libffi5.tcz added to file-roller.tcz.dep
libffi5.tcz adeed to lxterminal.tcz.dep

Great moderators

Could you un-sticky this old post
http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,15906.0.html
and make this current post the new sticky
when you get a chance.
cheers

Maybe this thread should be a sticky.
Just tested mupdf from TC 4, works great in TC 6 x86. From TC 4 utilized mupdf.tcz, openjpeg.tcz, jbig2dec.tcz. Also had to add libpng12.tcz from TC 6 to the mupdf.tcz.dep, which for TC 6 should read:
openjpeg.tcz
jbig2dec.tcz
libpng12.tcz
This is mupdf 0.8, they're now on v1.7 or something. Still works well, could it be copied to TC 6 repo as an alternative lightweight pdf reader? Thanks.
PS Juanito or whoever...please don't go through any effort to update, works well enough.

copied to tc-6.x repo - thanks
Did you try flaxpdf?
-
Discarded local version, installed mupdf from TC 6 repo - runs well. Flaxpdf is nice, especially trim mode. The install footprint is, however, ~2x larger and it does not run with 16 bit color depth. So there's still a place for mupdf in the repo. Thanks again for your help.
