Title: libtinfo missed in ncurses v5.9

I have problems with test release 6.0.
tce-update also updates ncurses. But it does no longer contain libtinfo.so. The ncurses.tcz version of piCore 5.3.1 contains the mssed file.
Any chance to get a correct ncurses.tcz in the repository?

It is the correct version now in 6.x repo without libtinfo. Extensions depend on ncurses are partly updated, others are work in progress.

Which extension is claiming for missing libtinfo?

As a temporary fix you can symlink libtinfo to libncurses

nano misses libtinfo
also amixer misses it, I don't know why. I'm still a newbie

nano, alsa-utils. htop, ncdu, lynx, screen, cmus, cadaver, libcdio updated in repo

Anyway symlink libtinfo did help in the meantime.

Got the same problem now ! after tce-update "Linux box 3.16.3-piCore+ #1 PREEMPT Sun Sep 21 20:27:08 CEST 2014 armv6l GNU/Linux"

Try 6.0 alpha with ALSA/NCURSES from 6.x repo. Looks like you got a mixup of ALSA and NCURSES versions

It is not the version of piCore but version of alsa and ncurses packages. Try a clean install.

Yes, remove all

- libasound*
- alsa*
- ncurses*

and install from the repo

- alsa-config.tcz
