Hi,
I can't connect to my wifi network home. I use TinyCore 5.3 (3.8.13-tinycore) I have no problem with the driver because I see correctly the wlan0 interface.
I have installed wifi.tcz and wpa_supplicant.tcz but it failed to connect. Attached I have putted an image when I try to connect to network wifi.
I have tested also the wicd and the error which I have is "Connection Failed: Bad Password". I have tried many password but nothing change.
Any idea.......
Best regards,

Try the correct password.
-
I try the correct password because I verify the password on another computer and on my smartphone.
I thing is't a problem with encrypting password.
How I can know if it use WPA2 and not WPA.?
-
Ask your IT department. They should know how the access point is configured.
-
My router is WPA2.
What I don't know it's, if the password which I write in the console of the wifi.sh, is corectely encoded...
-
For info ...
Today I have bought an usb wifi TP-Link TL-WN722N. This device work correctly, the password is correctly recognised.
But with the EDIMAX EW-7811Un Wireless Nano Adapter the password is not recognised.
The questions rest the same why....? ;D

Did you check dmesg for a firmware load failure?
-
Yes the firmware is correctly loaded, I have no error in dmesg.
I have made other tests and I can connect EDIMAX nano wifi to my smartphone wifi (when I put the smartphone to share the wifi) but I have never succeeded to connect to my router.
I can connect TP-Link but not EDIMAX.
I think it's a driver incompatibility or password encoding problem.
