I seconded this idea to install firmware-ralinkwifi in coreplus. I tested with coreplus version 5.4 my old HP pavilion N5135 with 64MB dram and RT61 wireless device. Seems that the rt61pci drivers installed OK, but message from "dmesg | tail". Shows.
Phy0 -> rt2x00lib_request_firmware: Error - Failed to request Firmware.
Since I don't have a wired connection, hard to load firmware from internet. I will look and perform more testing to see if I can overcome this obstacle. Fred
I used ploptbin software to boot from USB flash drive install of coreplus.I so file. Used Rufus to burn coreplus.I so file into USB flash drive.
