Why don't we use mediawiki? It seems a lot easier to edit with wikipedia than it does here (not as UI friendly). Mediawiki is free software.

While at first it is a bit hard to use, easy to learn and good for its purpose. The key is not the UI but the content. Are you advising to migrate to MEDIAWIKI, to waste time instead of enhancing the content?
While I'm just a contributor and not the owner of TC WIKI I do not like this idea.

I agree with bmarkus here, the current UI seems friendly enough for me, and the real focus needs to be on generating for content for the wiki.
