No drivers and can't quite figure out how to install printers. Would I be able to find printer drivers better with the tiny core debian program

Maybe you could start by supplying the make and model of your printers?
Usually a combination of the cups and hplip extensions covers most printers, but depending on your setup, you might only need the libcups extension.

The brother support site offers linux driver downloads for the mfc-j430w in deb or rpm format - I would presume these work with cups, but you'll need to download them and take a look to be sure.
The epson support site states that they do not support linux, but they do offer a generic linux printer driver available in tar.gz format, which you'd need to compile. Again I would guess this works with cups, but you'd have to download it and check.
