Title: [SOLVED] aria2 and magnet links

Hi!

Even using right at a terminal the command :

Code: [Select]

aria2c "magnet:the_link_of_some_magnet_link"
the download never starts! (and there is more than 2k seeders)

Do I have to modify something to get it working on Core? Or anyone suggest another torrent client?

Apps Tags show 4 torrent clients.
Aria2
lftp

Hi Gerald_clark!

I was having some problems with the repo mirror, getting only aria2 and lftp... very strange... This is ok now.

Regarding the aria2, I solved the problem: it was caused by the dht point. Just downloaded a "trusted" torrent (like the iso from ubuntu) and the the aria2 started to respond for magnet links from other sites. (there was no need to finish the torrent file from canonical).

This way the Yaaw web interface for aria2 started to work ok too.
