Title: forum envy
Post by: moB on June 06, 2014, 02:02:13 AM

Oh yeah! "NV", that green-eyed monster.

Saw a "thank you" button on another forum. I wanted it.

Often TC users are helpful and I want to say "you're right" or "thanks", but when I do I feel foolish -- wasting your eyes on that.

May be nicer to just be able to click and not waste forum real-estate?

The thanks count might be private or public. I saw public, but either way would suit me fine.

I get the idea of spam-free expressing your thankfulness. But I'd prefer not to see anything as a bystander.
It's easy to prejudge the content of a post without reading it if it has some kind of "like"-counter attached.
