I have come back to Tiny Core looking for an up-to-date version of mpc and mpd.
My search seems to imply that mpc is dead (also the comment in the mpd-minimal info "(no mpc in TC5.x)") and its place taken by a math library.
Is there any interest in reviving mpc, or is there another CLI for MPD that I can use? (I want a CLI for my own web-based frontend to use)
I don't want toget into any debate about what it should be called,as long as I can get the same functionality.

You could try the mpc/mpd extensions from the 4.x repo in 5.x to see if they work - if so, they can be copied over.

mpc is buggy, unmaintained. All together is a crap. But of course you can build it yourself and use, no problem.
There is cmus in the repo.
Edit: Sorry, false statement. My fault.

mpc is buggy?
No, see edit in previous post.

mpc added to 5.x / x86 repo, see MPC.tcz

Hi bmarkus
... see MPC.tcz
Will that cause a conflict with mpc.tcz for people who have their tce directory on a FAT partition?
