Again, not sure if this is a base bug, but since upgrading to 5.2 I've noticed a lot of images on the web are not rendering properly. Sometimes images will replicate in multiple places. So on instagram, for example, the same image will appear multiple times throughout the grid of thumbnails. It happens on all websites though.
Also sometimes images just render funny. They'll be all distorted and whatnot.
Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know what it might be attributed to?
Thank you!

No. base does not include any image software.

With which apps?

I had some disorted icons in GIMP under Xvesa (I could still successfully export my image; my screw avatar :] ). Under Xorg everything was fine.

Try a different resolution or depth under Xvesa.

Why? No any details known on application, video environment, etc.

Since Xorg works and Xvesa doesn't, perhaps it is a mismatch in picture depth vs Xvesa depth.
But if you want to wait for more information before offering any suggestions, fine.

Where do you read this in the original post?

I was responding to Misalf's comment.

Sorry, I might have produced some unnecessary confudion when I threw in my two cents.
I didn't had the same issue - Just thought it might be connected. However, I'm not able to reproduce this behavior under Xvesa anymore. The preview images of the actual images I was drawing, and prewiews of brushes etc., were disorted, but now everything is fine even under Xvesa with different color depths.
Perhaps it's caused by an optional dependency(?).

It actually might be just a Firefox thing to be honest... I never use Chrome, but was testing it briefly yesterday and it didn't seem to have the same issues. Then again I didn't play around with it too much. I have yet to update firefox though, as I'm having trouble with that too.
For what it's worth though, this is what my onboot.lst looks like...

How does wolf.tcz come into your onboot.lst? I didn't find it in the repository. Did I overlook it?

Hi volkerp
How does wolf.tcz come into your onboot.lst? I didn't find it in the repository. Did I overlook it?
He might have made that extension himself.
-
wolf.tcz is created with firefox-get.tcz
-
Yes wolf came from firefox-get.
I'm going to write this off as a Firefox bug, as I've seen similar issues logged on the Mozilla site. I probably should have looked there sooner, but my Firefox was upgraded at the same time TC was upgraded so it seemed to be related.
Sorry for the false alarm! Thanks for the replies!
