Title: re-sizing gnome apps

In case anybody is wondering, I switched several of the gnome apps to earlier versions as the latest versions compile without a window bar/means of resizing the window - for example:

gnome-system-monitor-3.10.1 no means of resizing app window
gnome-system-monitor-3.8.2.1 works as expected
