As far as I know, tcwonder's got a point: "search" works on the name, and "provides" works on the files.

Some time around the 3x era ,
I had  somthing that recreated the table data from http://tinycorelinux.net/3.x/tcz/
And added search option eg:
a) (http://i.imgur.com/LlOX0jb.png)
b) (http://i.imgur.com/MlvzOhv.png)

But then 4.x , server move , scm , and arm ports! happened .And the discriptions and the 3.x table disapeared
Now i think i like the idea of a compressed local copy of the tcz. info dep ect to xzgrep if possible!
Re: tgrex.pl - tcz/scm full text info search and download tool (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,14237.msg80232.html#msg80232)
As kind of mentioned in the ramblings of the above link .
