Title: [Suggestion] Wayland using DirectFB

From now on Wayland's show stopper on TC was that it required a recent Mesa and KMS. Wayland can now run on DirectFB which is small and available on TC AFAIK. So why don't we try to bring Wayland to TC?

I would do this if someone could give me some kind of starting point, or maybe someone else is willing to do so :)

You're quite welcome to package it up as an extension, but for inclusion in the ISOs it won't be ready in many years.
