Title: tc-5 nautilus
Post by: coreplayer2 on September 10, 2013, 05:43:54 PM
Nautilus extension starts from OnBoot perfectly without adding dconf to menu or wbar,  thanks

Only issues are nautilus also adds these items to the desktop > Applications menu

RunSoftware  - which doesn't appear to function

& ConnecttoServer  - Appears to function, but have no way to test it

& DesktopIcons - which loads a new desktop with icons on all work-spaces,  if this is the desired result then I guess it works perfectly.   If selected accidentally, then AFAIK there are few methods to restore your normal desktop, two of which are

Ctrl + Alt + F1 > Enter > killall -SIGUSR1 nautilus > Enter

or,  Ctrl + Alt + F1 > Enter > sudo reboot > Enter

otherwise nautilus is a really nice file manager,  though I do wish nautilus (and all file managers for that matter) had "Open as Root & Open Terminal Here" options

I think I may have found an answer to Open as Root & Open Terminal Here in " Nautilus-Actions project "

dconf is now split into dconf and dconf-editor so there's no icon/menu item with dconf
