Title: Encrypting SDD with onboard keys resource
Post by: srekrap on July 30, 2013, 01:52:00 PM
Hello -

Has anyone needed-to/familiar-with setting up TCL to boot off an encrypted SDD? We have an environment where normally things are network keyed, but now we need our TCL to boot from encrypted (local keystore I'm learning about, not familiar with at the moment) and fire up daemons w/o any password. I guess all I need to know is: are there any TCL-specific issues I should be aware of, or would normal Linux procedures apply?

  Thanks

follow up - the local keystore is TPM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trusted_Platform_Module)
