Hi.
Whenever i try to install compile-essentials.tcz, the process fails when downloading gcc.tcz
Even if the image on the card is completely fresh...
What might be happening?
Cheers.

If i check the md5 files through Appbrowser, i get a FAILED on gcc.tcz.md5.txt file.
When downloading, the error appears at 40% of gcc.tz.

I have to ask since you mentioned it's a fresh image ;)
Have you made a second partition with your remaining card space (either with something like fdisk or even gparted from another linux machine) and put a tce folder in there?
If so, does df -h
show enough disk space for what you're trying to install?

By default downloaded extensions are in RAM.
compile-essentials.tcz is 29M in size. Even RPi with 256M RAM must be OK.

Ok my mistake, haven't fired it up without the other partition for a while :-[
In hindsight I forgot the Core ports behaved similarly to the x86 Core (which is awesome).

Tested, compile-essentials.tcz install without any error message here from the repo.
