I just reinstalled Tinycore and I'm running version 4.7.7
I installed getflash and I got flash, that's no problem, but every video is black and does not play EXCEPT if I have submitqc4.tcz in onboot.
So, my question is ...
Why does flash only work when submitqc4.tcz is in onboot.lst along with flash?
I'm just cURIOUS, thanks gEORGE ;)

Hi cURIOUSgEORGE
Remove submitqc4.tcz from onboot and reboot your machine. Then see if:
ldd /usr/local/share/flash11/libflashplayer.so
reports any missing dependencies.
-
Hey Rich, long time no see, or hear, or better yet no read ...
I ran the command, and there's no missing dependencies reported. None at all.
It's as if submitqc4.tcz is a dependency but how so? IDK ...
It's gotta be something else going on when the computer boots and onboot.lst is loaded. If I leave flash in onboot and take submitqc4.tcz out, then restart the computer, flash stops working. And it happens like that every time.
If I put submitqc4.tcz back in onboot with flash and reboot, flash works.
I gotta have both flash and submitqc4 in onboot.lst in order for flash to work.

Hi cURIOUSgEORGE
Remove submitqc4.tcz from onboot and reboot your machine. Then load the dependencies of submitqc4.tcz one by one
until flash works. That will flush out the culprit.
-
Alright, will do.
-
Okay. It came down to wget.
Thoughts?

Hi cURIOUSgEORGE
That narrows it down to wget or openssl-1.0.0.tcz which is a dependency of wget.tcz. Does it work if only openssl-1.0.0.tcz
is installed?
-
YUP! It works with openssl in onboot along with flash. Thank you very much Rich. Guess I'll just leave it in onboot. Strange never had to before.

Hi cURIOUSgEORGE
You might want to report this under TCE Bugs as a possible bug.

Hi cURIOUSgEORGE
And please add [SOLVED] to the subject line of your original post.

I am an idiot.
I read subject lines left to right. Maybe cURIOUSgEORGE when he has a chance, could move (SOLVED) to the beginning?
