Title: Firefox 17.0.6 ESR [This request is now cancelled]

Hi Y'all!

Anybody that have the skills and want to make an extension of the latest Firefox ESR (think it is 17.0.6)? Would be very greatful for that. A script that allows me to do it myself even better.

Since build script can never be submitted as its private I have had some fun with the TCZ, folder and png names
Try at own risk, but this time its a dropbox site so should stay alive a bit longer than my previous host site

I should call it get-meo.sh but I resisted that temptation

save the file and make it executable

chmod +x build.sh
sudo sh build.sh
tce-load -i meo

but safer to reboot to clear away old firefox and do not load old firefox eh

2) in future only change line 16 which wraps onto line 17 for the download filename and its output name
nothing else needs changing.....unless you did not want Swedish

also if you are having trouble manually adjusting names in the future note how the string has multiple mentions

If you still can't work it out, go to the site, start the download....stop it and right hand click the download link showing up in the downloads folder.

There is the possibility that I might become the maintainer of the normal firefox, US english version v 21.0 and that might suit your purposes equally well?

Didn't see your post until now. Thanks a lot! Ran the script and now I have the latest Firefox ESR in Swedish. Thanks again! Now I have the script securely saved too.

The sooner the better since this new Firefox 21 release has some great features i'm sure alot of users on the forum would like to use. Thanks in advance.

Any chance you edit top post subject line along the lines of [CANCEL REQUEST] or what ever you prefer?

If you have time, do the same to your other requests?

To anyone who actually needs ESR, I have no plans to update any ESR. I prefer you use firefox which I plan to keep up-to-date if my submission is successful. Aother reason for not wanting to take over ESR is spare time issues
