Title: TC iso boot, 64 bit, usb3
Post by: null on April 13, 2013, 04:03:04 AM
Hi there,

I have been using TC on and off since version 3.x. Always boot straight from ISO file only. I have searched everywhere and have sort of answered part of my issues:

1. TC does not currently have an all encompassing ISO file for 64bit?
Is this still true? I have a 64 bit intel corei7 which I want to use tc on.

2. Is there support for USB3 drives?
My laptop only has usb3 ports.

Would appreciate it if someone can point me to the above so I don't need to keep searching.

thanks in advance.

There is no iso file for core64 or corepure64, but it's not a big deal to use a standard installation - both work fine for me with the corei7 in a dell e6220 and mac-mini

Yes, USB3 ports are supported. Whether your specific controller is, you need to check the kernel version.
