Title: How to remove enlightenment.
Post by: Fog on March 26, 2013, 10:54:46 PM
I accidentally installed enlightenment, I wanted a file manager, but got that mixed up with a window manager. Now when Tiny Core boots enlightenment wants me to select a language, the only option is system default and the clicking the  mouse has no effect. Can I restore to a previous state, before enlightenment was installed, or forcibly delete it before starting?

start with the bootcode "text" which will leave you at the console prompt, edit tce/onboot.lst, remove enlightenment and reboot

Hi Fog
Try using the boot code:
Code: [Select]
desktop=flwm_topsideThat's assuming you were running the default window manager. Then use the  Apps  utility to remove  enlightenment.tcz

I ended up using another distro (puppy lucid) on a cd to delete enlightenment.

That command is interesting, does it reset everything to do with the desktop or what?
