Title: pxe like a cd?
Post by: fmayhewubh on March 03, 2013, 07:50:09 PM
I have just got pxe booting to work on my network. I'm confused though. the pxe booted system cant/wont use the local /tce directory. is there a special boot parameter i need to use to get the same menu for pxe booting as the core plus disc (window managers, etc) and I've checked the wiki and if the instructions are there they don't make sense.

You would have to elaborate more in detail what exactly you did.

I'd stab in the dark and say http://www.syslinux.org/wiki/index.php/MEMDISK#INT_13h_access:_Not_all_images_will_complete_the_boot_process.21
