I sometimes listen to music videos on youtube while doing other things and lately the browser window keeps popping to the top without me doing anything to it.
I can't say for sure that this -never- happened before, but it has definitely at least gotten worse since i upgraded to Core 4.7.5. I still have 4.7.4 on my system and will check tomorrow if it does it there.
Current system:
Core 4.7.5 with Xlibs, Xprogs, Xorg-7.5, jwm, wbar, minefield7 and flash11.
There are other extensions loaded, the only one of which that wasn't there before is spacefm (with all of its deps).
All extensions except flash11 are freshly downloaded. minefield7 appears to be the same as on the old install. I still have the complete 4.7.4 install, including extensions and backup, on hand and will compare the rest of the extensions tomorrow.
Any ideas that might help me short circuit my research?

hi meo,
perhaps it´s a certain windowsmanager-configuration especially for the minefield-windows,
f.e. in fluxbox every single window can be configured individually.

Hi Lee
Temporarily removing SpaceFM from onboot and restarting Tinycore could eliminate that as the culprit.
-
Probably a WM bug, perhaps your old install had a previous JWM version.

I am not in front of the affected system right now so I can't see the desktop, but I have shell access and I just ran an md5 scan of the tce/optional directories with the following results:

Using jwm, which has not changed.
The system has been rebooted (w/o SpaceFM) since I had this issue, but I haven't been using it enough to know if the issue persists. I'll probably use it some this weekend and try to a) make sure I can duplicate the issue and b) troubleshoot it.

in case it is spacefm thats the culprit, it would be good to know so I will follow this post
I assume you read the info file and have setup dbus?
BTW have you gone into Apps and run mainenance -> check for updates?
on 26/feb nss nspr sqlite3 was updated
non-spacefm were updated older
any change you make such as a remaster will always show a "false positive" update for spacefm
When my fix lands, if it lands, I will post in the announcement thread.
I am getting a hit for it atm, and in a few days hopefully will get an email
---thats because my remaster only resolved wbar for spacefm icon but the tcz fix will resolve 3 wbar icons
-----not sure if I am using the full fix or the remaster fix...doesn't matter email will fix that issue
