Title: RDC Semiconductor VGA driver - which extension do I need?
Post by: Zendrael on February 02, 2013, 07:21:56 AM
Hello all!

I have a machine which lspci says that it has a VGA RDC Semiconductor graphic card. Which Xorg driver do I need to get it working properly?

Thanks!

I don't think we have a driver for that in the repo.

Ok Curaga!

I will wait a few days and then mark the post as solved if no one has any idea about it.

Thanks

Hi Zendrael
Without model numbers or  vendor/device IDs that's not much to go on. Is this your device:
http://www.rdc.com.tw/en/product/iad.php
The downloads page lists Xorg and frame buffer drivers.

Hi Rich!

yes, it is my device! This graphic card comes within the PMX-1000 SoC (also known as Vortex86MX+ or XCore86+).

Too bad it runs so slow with Xvesa and Xorg...

anyway, thank you all for the help!
