Title: [SOLVED] microcore with intel amt
Post by: tinyme on January 23, 2013, 02:38:15 AM
Did someone on this forum manage to boot microcore with intel amt?
Executing ifconfig showed that the same ip address as the one of intel amt was used (192.168.1.103). However, it was impossible to connect to port 16992 and 16994.
A soft reboot (reset) didn't resolve the issue. Manually turning the machine off (power button) and on again restored connectivity.

Is this driver included?

Do you know then why the system has to be manually rebooted after the startup of microcore? The reset doesn't work anymore via commands.

which commands are you trying to use - does "sudo exitcheck.sh reboot" work?

I use intel amt to give a reset (doesn't work) We can only give a reset with the reset button (on the case) I will try the reset mentioned above.

Reset above doesn't work, I loose the connection completely so I can't give in any commands (after booting)

When I reboot with the above command (on the keyboard of the amtsystem) the computer reboots but port 16992 stays occupied.

This topic is resolved, the problem wasn't due to microcore but due to the intel code for linux (to use ider)
