Title: update a bootable pendrive
Post by: chattrhand on January 09, 2013, 02:02:23 PM
hi TC Team,
it is a real core problem. How can I update a bootable usb-stick? I have gparted it to
sdb1:  6 GByte  FAT32  data readable for Win and Mac,
sdb2:  2 GByte  ext4 bootable+bootloader, TinyCore-4.6.1, jwm, no bootoptions, but WIFI, installer, remaster, non-us keyboard.

This worked fine. Firefox always told me when it was time for update. The AppBrower now wants a TinyCore-4.7.3 version, With zsync only the .iso files are updated, but not the core installation.

Is there a way to only update the core on a bootable stick?
Thanks in advance

Replace core.gz with new version from repo.
