Title: Using serial terminal?
Post by: bmarkus on November 21, 2012, 11:43:04 AM
Can we use a serial console with piCore instead of keyboard-mouse-display? Is it available by default or a boot code needed?

Hmmm... I think I have an ADM-3A floating around somewhere from my Ampro Littleboard days.  :)  Is there a convenient way to interface the pi to legacy serial i/o hardware?

Easiest way is an USB/RS-232 konverter cable or adapter, like this:

Software changes likely required: http://www.irrational.net/2012/04/19/using-the-raspberry-pis-serial-port/
