Title: TPM module/utilities and/or compilation environment
Post by: rmrichesjr on October 17, 2012, 06:47:02 PM
First question: Does anyone have a pointer to info on adding the TPM kernel module and utilities to Tiny Core?  (As nearly as I can tell, the kernel is configured with no TPM kernel module.  Also, I have not found that the TPM userspace utilities are among the extension packages.)

Second question: Are there how-to documents on setting up a compilation environment in order to compile kernel modules and userspace for later inclusion in a remastered Tiny Core?

Thanks,

Robert

Hi rmrichesjr
Installing  compiletc.tcz  will give you a proper compile environment.

Thank you both very much!  The compiletc extension looks like a strong match for the present task.  The page about creating extensions looks like a gold mine of useful info.

Hello - any outcome to the request for TPM support? To enable do I simply need to rebuild the kernel with TPM enabled? or do I need something else in addition?

  Thanks
