Title: Aterm is (almost) as good as Konsole
Post by: rms46 on October 15, 2012, 10:12:29 PM
Hello,
I am running TC as a guest of VirtualBox in several Kubuntus (notebooks, at home, at work). I am using TC for teaching purposes where the VirtualBox runs on top of "You Know What" Windows. Until recently, I am having problem to use "aterm" because of the too small fonts and "cutting and pasting takes a little practice".

After googling here and there, I run:
Code: [Select]
xlsfonts | lessto find out what fonts are available at TC. Then, I decided to replace the font in "~/.Xdefaults" with size 18 (yes, I am that old :) )
Code: [Select]
Aterm*font: *-fixed-bold-*-*-18-*
Practising "copy and paste" was not that easy with a two button mouse. As written in the FAQ, to copy, "simply highlights the text with the left mouse button" and to paste, "pressing the left and right button together".

Rahmat.
