Title: [solved] permission denied on mounted ntfs share
Post by: bigpcman on May 02, 2009, 12:36:03 PM
tc2rc1
I have mounted a ntfs windows share using the mount.cifs command. It is owned by root and has "777" privileges. I have the file services and the ntfs-3g extensions installed. When I try to copy a file to it I get a permissions denied message. How do I fix this?

edit: stupid mistake - I forgot to allow shared modification on the windows share in windows.
