Hi
I have installed network-manager as an extension.
If i type in network manager there pops up a gui,
which does not include VPN connectio information.
This would be possible with the network-manager
Applet like in KNOPPIX.
My dream is to have this Applet with TC not with
overloaded KNOPPIX.
Thanks.

I'd be interested to know if anybody has had any success with a vpn connection over wifi on tc, whether it be by network-manager, the wifi app or command line.

Hi,
thanks for the reply.
When mobile without VPN I use the menu ot wifi.tcz for
selecting an AP from the list.
For an additional VPN connection I cannot find any information
in /usr/local/bin/wifi.sh.
Where in the system do the vpn configuration file reside?
Thanks.

Ah! sorry I didn't see the VPN requirement in your post
-
Again, please define "VPN". There are dozens of different technologies for doing VPN, and so saying "I want to VPN over wifi" gives no info on what you actually want.

Hi,
o.k. finally:

I've been using vpnc a lot over wifi. I changed the ifup/ifdown scripts in my roam extension locally so that vpnc gets started automatically for the specific bssids where I need it to access the internet.
