Title: grive - extension request
Post by: pepepepe on July 07, 2012, 07:13:05 PM
Are there any plans to create a grive extension?  It allows syncing with google drive - although its still very much 'in development' so I don't know whether it would be better to wait until it's more fully-formed..?

Details can be found at github dot com stroke Grive stroke grive

I have a 4gb persistent tc pendrive and, since google give you 5gb for free, grive would be really handy in case of pendrive failure/ brain failure  (ie forgetting or losing it ;) )

I'm new here, but assuming you can get the program to compile, it should be relatively easy to make an extension for it.
See:

I was able to create a (tiny) extension to customize my setup pretty easily.

to create an extension you could use this: https://code.google.com/p/tc-ext-tools/ (https://code.google.com/p/tc-ext-tools/)

Thanks for those - they do look a little intimidating as I've never tried to do anything like that before, but I should have some time over the weekend to play about with them a bit... I'll keep you posted - wish me luck!
