how does tce-audit or tce-update handles this situation?
-
These programs rely on a solid source. As the old adage goes... Garbage in garbage out.
However Gutmensch has a script to perform a local ldd check that will be available. Although such local checking should not be a requirement if the repository is maintained properly.

Maybe I was not clear or I don't understand very well your answer.
As an example, curl.tcz.dep was removed from the repo, but this hasn't reflected on my tce dir, I had to remove that file by hand.

I thought that you were taking about the recursive dependency breakage caused by the rolling release effect on tcz type extensions. scm extensions are not subject to such effect as they are self contained.
But instead I think that you are asking for an orphan check. I don't think it should be an autoremove but only a report.
