Hi,
Anybody got time to share Linphone 3.5.2 settings for tc 4.2 using Diamondcard?
I've tried to follow the diamondcard website instructions for Linphone 3.3.2, but no luck.
If another voip operator works better, please recomend.
After setup, my address at screen bottom is= sip:<my login ID> @sip.diamond.us ( arrows mine)
This is very different than BJ Markus settings in forums = <sip:tc@192.168.2.1237> (arrows on screen).
My interest is calling land lines, so I need a voip operator? Right?

:) Thanks for moving the post, Rich. Apologies for my carelessness.
To clarify my post:
Interested in using Linphone (in tc 4.3) or alternative to call land lines.
I've tried using DiamondCard as a SIP voip provider, but cannot get the combo working.
Can anybody recomend a SIP VOIP operator to make the connection between Linphone and land lines?
Is this practical in tinycore?
Thanks,
Newtotinycore

Hi newtotinycore
my address at screen bottom is= sip:<my login ID> @sip.diamond.us
According to http://www.linphone.org/eng/documentation/guide/
In a first step, the user has to subscribe for the service by choosing a username (sometimes a number) and password. Your public sip identity is then sip:<your username>@<your voip provider>, this is the address that other people can use to reach you using SIP.
So that part looks right.

:) Thanks again, Rich.
Configuration with Callcentric, is straightforward.
But after configuration, I never get to the pop-up window (for password).
Anybody using Linphone in tc 4.3 for calls to land lines?
Maybe it's not feasible.

FWIW, a SIP account from ekiga.net works with pjsua.tcz for me under core.

:) Thanks for the tip!
I'll check it out.
