Hello I have a really old laptop, 133 MHz Intel processor and 64 MB of RAM.
I was trying to install Tiny Core on it, but it will not. It won't even boot into it. I am at the screen to select modes and such and I use the default and I get a failed message and such.
Help?

here (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,12852.0.html) contains the topic where laptop has a similar configuration
-
You need to provide the exact error messages for us to be able to help.

I'm sorry I have no idea what they are talking about in that thread...
The error goes away too fast for me to see. I tried it on my current laptop and it works fine.

here (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,12698.0.html) had discuss about laptop with 64mb ram and video modes settings

I'm really sorry, I just cannot understand what these threads are talking about..only Linux experince I have is Ubuntu and Xubuntu.
-
dear Kiyuubi
please specify the exact laptop model name
maybe this will help determine what can do
-
Again, it's not helpful to say "won't even boot". Please be exact in what is the thing you see last in the boot.

Hi Kiyuubi
Try adding the boot code boot_delay=2000 to the command line, that should slow down the messages.
