Title: how to run some DOS *.exe or *.com program

how to run some DOS *.exe or *.com program
 with small application or small emulation soft
 and with full hard disk support to run
 for example "plop installation" or "Ranish partition manager"
dosemu do not seem to be good stuff

is there some small wine version
or some small emulation program
 which takes less them 1-2MB

Dosbox and  wine extensions are both in the repo.
Whether you can get either to run your program is another question.

wine takes 18MB
dosbox 4MB plus
so will test bochs 1.2M

or find some wine version only for DOS or only win95
if not use qemu it always work

or dosemu with some disk support options
