need good or small GUI *.iso editor
which can add or delete files and dirs in *.iso file
without changing anything in boot options of this image
[like UltraISO under ms-wirus ;) ]
-
9660 cannot be written to as a mounted filesystem.
-
isomaster in repository but If I understand you want to do search ezremaster package
-
so in fact, need good or small?
:D
isomaster does not fit?
-
Why not search the repository for a utility and try them, see which one's fit your needs.? and let us know
-
yes the isomaster is fully good software
but is it any small replasement for text mode
-
mount, mod and recreate iso with bashburn?
-
Hi vinnie
You can get away with that if you wish to alter a text file AND don't change the number of sectors
it occupies AND you don't physically move it to another location. Otherwise, its:
mount
copy
unmount
modify copy
mksiofs
burn
-
...
mount
copy
unmount
modify copy
mksiofs
burn
uh, uhm, ok, and this is the replacement for text mode ibug ;)
P.s. @Rich: Joking apart, not having ever done I did not know precisely the procedure :D
-
Hi vinnie
Not a problem, I just wanted to provide a little clarification.
-
Not a GUI tool but worth to try xorriso provided by libisoburn.tcz
xorriso is a command line and dialog application, which creates, loads, manipulates and writes ISO 9660 filesystem images with Rock Ridge extensions.

...
mount
copy
unmount
modify copy
mksiofs
burn
uh, uhm, ok, and this is the replacement for text mode ibug ;)

good good if it always boot this way :(
