Post by: ibug on February 03, 2012, 10:24:43 PM
in gparted.tcz.info depending on ntfsprogs
gparted view full ntfs support
 with ntfsprogs.tcz replaced with ntfs-3g.tcz

so what is it for ?
 files like
mount.fuse.ntfs
mount.ntfs-fuse
they are not in ntfsprogs.tcz

which ntfs to use?
which ntfs to use?

Hi ibug
I don't understand your question. If you are looking to adjust NTFS partitions using  gparted.tcz  then
install  ntfsprogs.tcz. If you click on  View->File System Support  a window will open that tells you
for each file system which extensions are required.

yes but gparted view thesame full support with
 ntfsprogs
or
 ntfs-3g
so ntff-3g is stable new one but
ntfsprogs include:
 mount.fuse.ntfs
 mount.ntfs-fuse
are they needed for anything in example text mode without gparted

Technically they are not needed since they are identical to  ntfsmount. If you are planning on mounting
an NTFS file system you could use any one of them, but you need to install  fuse.tcz  first.

so without ntfsmount or those twoo links to it named mount.fuse.ntfs and mount.ntfs-fuse
and fuse mount NTFS partition is not possible
or those three files give me some additional options
