Hi,
I tried to remove System Tools menu following this topic:

but for some reason it didn't work. Then I moved the commands into some file under /home/tc/.X.d/ and now it kind of works.
The problem is that when I exit to prompt and then 'startx', System Tools menu is back.
I'm sure the files under .X.d/ are being called everytime, whether I boot or 'startx'.
