Have a problem, Firefox 7 can't see VLC mozilla plugin, which is in /usr/local/lib/mozilla/plugins.
What's the problem?

Sorry for making a joke. In the 1930's a reader sent a telegram to a radio magazine's erditor:
'My radio has no sound. What is the problem?'

I make the extension for the official firefox, but I use the latest minefield instead. There may be a chance I did not set the plugin path right on that version, I will look into it later, on Windows now.

I can't get the VLC pluging working in windows Fx7. Its always a black box. :-/
Thus I disabled it and switched to an addon named media player connectivity.

I'm having the same issue with all plugins located in that directory.

Ignore my post. It was caused by a misspelled dependency in my meta extension. It works now.
