Title: chromium-browse-oom_adj is deprecated
Post by: ru60hz on October 15, 2011, 11:39:13 PM
Hello everybody,

I saw this message from my dmesg
'chromium-browse (1592): /proc/1589/oom_adj is deprecated, please use /proc/1589/oom_score_adj instead.'

Is this a problem on chromium browser or tc4.0.2? i didn't notice this message before. my system is newly upgrade from TC4.0 to TC4.0.2. How can i correct this?

thanks in advance.
R

The kernel has not changed from TC4.0 to TC4.0.2.

You can ignore the message. I assume a future version of chromium will correct this.

Yes, I agree. I checked this on my test computer still running TC4.0, it's also showing the same message.

Thanks Curaga, anyway it doesn't interfere my web browsing. I was just curious when i found this on
dmesg.

thanks
