Title: Tinycore 4.0 Info: rcu_sched_state detected stall on cpu (t=18000)
Post by: cURIOUSgEORGE on October 12, 2011, 07:13:36 PM
Ever sense upgrading too tinycore 4.0 I have been recieving  --->

Info: rcu_sched_state detected stall on cpu (t=18000)
and this happens while tinycore is about too boot right after mydata.tgz is about to finish loading.

and it hangs for a minute then repeats the same message over repeatedly but increasing t=xxxxxx

any thoughts???

Also I noticed that my hda is NO-LONGER detected so I had to install tinycore on sda !

Before this everything was fantastic. -_-

In tc-4.x, a hard disk that was named hda1 will now be named sda1

Hi cURIOUSgEORGE
See if the boot code   maxcpus=1   changes anything.

I went back to tinycore 3.8 for a few weeks but now I decided to give 4x a try again because I can not stand having an old setup. After installing 4.0.2 the problem seems to have disappeared. So far so good. All set. Thanks.
