Title: xterm in Xprogs
Post by: vinnie on October 10, 2011, 08:07:24 AM
that I ask is just a curiosity, why xterm is a symbolic link to aterm?
I ask because I tried to understand why yeahconsole (http://phrat.de/yeahtools.html) not work, and then I realized this, is a merely question of space?

It's standard practise when xterm is not installed; apps call xterm when they need a "generic terminal".

If you install xterm, it will take preference in PATH.
