Can I use mnttool to mount partition from command line? Such "mnttool /dev/sda1"? Thanks.
-
Just "mount /mnt/sda1"
-
Thanks! I don't like to use mouse or touchpad, so this is very much easier.

Hi hypersonic
If you are doing this as a regular user you may have to use sudo like this:
sudo mount /mnt/sda1
-
to mount partition enough for me to be
the user ???
-
You may want to get and read a good beginners Linux book.
We do not teach Linux here.
-
Thanks gerald_clark, I may just do that.
-
Gerald, you mean to me? ???
-
No, Vinnie.
I meant that for hypersonic.
He apparently has little Linux experience, and would do well to buy a good book.

Wow... don't get me wrong, I don't want to disturb with basic questions. sorry
-
Looks like I don't know anything about Linux, but it's not totally true (unless the basic). I just was mounting the partition with mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/sda1, but that way is more simple.

And think... if I was REALLY REALLY newbie, i would be using Windows, or maybe Ubuntu. But not. After all, thanks for best distro I've ever used
-
ok, sorry gerald, I thought I had said something wrong ;)
