Hi guys!
I'm not sure if this is the right place to make my post but I would be very happy if wicd could be made for TC 4.0 which I'm trying out now. It works really fine in TC 3.8.4 by the way!
Have fun with the updated TC 4.0,

If it can be tested to work on TC 4.0, I will copy it and it's deps over.

Hi coreplayer2!
Well, I just like it. It's so convenient and works very well with my netbook.
Have fun with TC anyway you want it,

Regarding "any other reason for wicd?":
1. Please see http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,11580.0.html (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,11580.0.html), the effect of which is that I want to log into a WiFi hotspot that uses WPA2 with "PEAP with GTK" with a username and password, and I cannot figure out how to do that using the wifi script. If there's a way to do it with the wifi script, I would love to know it.
2. I have already gotten wicd to auto-log into hotspots with TC 3.8, so if I can use the wifi script, I would like to learn how to do so with it, too - is there a way to do this with the wifi script?

Thanks to maro for his tutorial on how I can configure wpa_supplicant directly to get me online wirelessly in TC 4.0.
The advantage that I see of having "Wicd Network Manager" available is that it composes the configuration consumed by wpa_supplicant.
The neophyte, the less informed, or the less technically skilled may find this extremely helpful.
