Title: is choice of dhclient configurable?
Post by: bbauman99 on September 15, 2011, 05:08:29 PM
I'd like to use the dhclient from the isc-dhcp extension, but /etc/init.d/dhclient.sh appears to hardwire the client to the busybox version (/sbin/udhcpc).

Is this correct? Is there an easy way to override this behavior, or do I need to modify /etc/init.d/dhcp.sh manually?

Thanks.

Use the "nodhcp" bootcode, and start your favorite client in bootlocal.sh.
