Title: Several "error on fetch of ...tcz" during TCE Audit (for update)
Post by: floppy on September 15, 2011, 04:06:32 PM
What should I do?
And few TCE can not be updated. What should I do? (I had already an information here for forcing an update, but I cannot find the solution in this forum anymore)

- You are not telling which TC version
- You are not telling is it TC or MC
- You are not telling which .tcz

A typical support case. Do you really expect usable answer? Just wasting others time. Sorry to say.

Correct. The posting was a bit too short.
Now, here is a screen copy: http://imagebin.org/172933 (http://imagebin.org/172933)
The update of the extensions seems now to work. But a lot of "fetch" errors happens; so, what should be done?
System: TCL 4.0.rc2 (Good! speed! great..).

Those extensions don't exist in the repo. It means that either it's a custom extension and you should keep it, or it was renamed/removed in the repo, and you should decide on a case-by-case basis.

Running TC 4.x with a 3.x tce directory will cause what has been seen here.  Uniquely naming the tce directories will make it easy to prevent this when running different TC versions - ie /mnt/sda3/tce3 for TC 3 and /mnt/sda3/tce4 for TC 4 and booting with a boot code is one way.
