Hi
Where can I find XFE?
Midnight Commander was the only file manager I found already do you know one with a GUI that supports long file names?
I tried nautilus but it keeps crashing (closing itself immediately after I start it).
Thanks for any helpful answers.
:) Jan

Assuming you're on Tiny Core 6.4.1 x86
Code: [Select]
tce-load -wi xfe

Or open the Apps browser...
Apps -> Cloud (Remote) -> Browse:
Type  xfe  in the search field -> press ENTER.

try "spacefm" for a modern tabbed file manager.   Not had any issues with long file names, maybe YMMV

There's also "pcmanfm"

Use the APPS browser to install them

Search APPS > Tags "file managers" for even more file managers

I tried nautilus but it keeps crashing (closing itself immediately after I start it).

Do you get an error message if you start nautilus from a terminal window?

I just tried nautilus with tc-6.4.1 and Xvesa/flwm and it works fine...
